Why do you use plys rather than solid woods? E-mail

We use ply for a three reason. Ply is structurally stronger ( look at engineered beams, they are made with ply ), also cost is a factor, solid wood costs more per board foot. Third is moisture content, ply has very little moisture content, so there is less likelihood of a ply warping.
